Principal's Message

Welcome and greetings to all!

As the Principal of a young and upcoming institution dedicated to the cause of higher education among underprivileged students, I offer you an overview of our hitherto performance, facilities, courses and co-curricular achievements in the following pages, and desire a more integrated and committed level of performance with participation from your end.

The college is at present in an emergent state after the severe blow of the pandemic, and has successfully switched to the new and blended mode of teaching and learning in vogue across the nation today ā€“ including YouTube channel, student Whatsapp groups and an institutional membership of Google Suite to facilitate online teaching, evaluation, administration, notification and other academic tasks. Such modern challenges have been overcome within a minimal cost for the student, shifting the major financial brunt on the college. The college runs four Honours and a Program course with significant success, and has been augmenting the platter almost every year with new courses/subjects and profession oriented training programmes/courses to be added on. We take pride in our library, which is a hub of knowledge expanding in digital resources. With over 7238 books and access to INFLIBNET, our students have the resources they need to excel in theirstudies. We also have a well-equipped computer lab and offer free Wi-Fi throughout the campus.

Performing with great success, alertness and regularity in these academic areas, the college authority also keeps a regular eye on the co-curricular health of students ā€“ conducting sporting and cultural activity and nurturing the moral and ethical maturity necessary in a responsible citizen. The campus, as visible from the college website, is a testimony to our love of ecological harmony, and the holistic ideal of humanity that inspires us through the figure of our eponymous hero, Pandit Madan Mohan Tarkalankar.

I wish all a long and healthy life.

Vision

The vision of the college is to inculcate human values and rational spirit among its students and to offer quality education without making any religious or gender discrimination. The college was built to expose the pupils living in remote villages to the realm of higher education, most of whom belong to the underprivileged communities and live in abject poverty. The college aspires to fulfill the academic aspiration of pupils belonging to scheduled tribes, scheduled castes, other backward communities, and religious minorities.
